On our way to Tsukuba

Our group stopped at this mall on our way from Tokyo to Tsukuba today! Three things caught my eye! First was a virtual amusement center where people used these kiosks to purchase tickets to enter a virtual experience where they could experience everything just as if they were doing it! There were long lines everywhere. Secondly, all the restaurants had plastic food in their window, so people could select the “just right” restaurant of choice, and thirdly people were enjoying a 3 day holiday with their families because it was Second Monday of October (national holiday) Health and Sports Day (taiiku no hi):
On that day 1964, the Olympic games of Tokyo were opened. It was great to see families enjoying a beautiful day in Japan.
