Typhoon Experience

During last night, I could hear the howling of the wind outside my 30th floor hotel room. I woke this morning to rain on the windows and more wind. As the day progressed, so did the wind and rain! It rained horizontally all day, unlike thunderstorms on the plains of Nebraska. It's hard to believe, but I am half way around the world from Lincoln, NE and am telling complete strangers who don't understand English to watch the weather! Don't worry, they say by Monday, it will be sunny and warm again.
